Veryan Post Open Day 13 August 2011 attracted some
32 visitors in two tours. This photo shows visitors looking at the exposed
cassettes of the GZI.

Some of the visitors underground at Veryan Post. So
many people turned up for the afternoon tour that they had to be split into two
groups to go underground. Many of the visitors were tourists to Cornwall who had
seen the Open Day advertised in the local press.

Over 20 visitors attended the afternoon tour
including a number of children. All took great interest in the work of the ROC
and the underground post. Note the Decoy Site Command Bunker mound in the
background. There are plans by the National Trust to open up the Decoy Bunker
and open it up in conjunction with the ROC Post.
